Maura Geraghty

Maura Geraghty’s career began from the outside in. As a licensed cosmetologist with companies such as Matrix, Wella and Swarztkopt, she fine tuned her visual acuity and ability to identify client concerns. This lead Maura to pursue her interest in holistic health. She acquired a license in massage therapy with additional certifications in pre and post natal, aromatherapy, and Thai massage and developed a private practice in NYC exclusively for pre and post natal clients. Combining her training in cosmetology with her knowledge of massage she discovered a talent for identifying colors associated with a client, and using those colors therapeutically. Maura then enhanced her practice with a study of aroma therapy and five elemental nature philosophies. Maura, with long time business associate Wanda Harris, then began Advanced Avenues – a company specializing in programs that train individuals and groups how create balance and harmony and improve mental and physical well-being.
